I am the lead teacher for our fifth grade team and an instructional coach for the district. I am originally from Indiana and attended Purdue University for college. I also lived and taught in Florida for two years before I moved to California. I love living here and working at Brentwood. Outside of the classroom I enjoy running, playing ultimate frisbee, and traveling. |

I am currently on the 5th grade team, as well as on the literacy lead team for the district, and the Techie Team. I attended Westmont High School in Campbell and then went to DeAnza Community College in Cupertino, where I began my studies in political science. I then transferred to UC Berkeley, where I double majored in political science and gender and woman studies. I received my teaching credential and a Master's in Education at San Jose State. Prior to coming to the Ravenswood School District, I taught middle school in San Jose with the Franklin-McKinley School District. When I'm not teaching, I am usually traveling, cooking, reading or geocaching. |

[email protected] My name is Amberlynn Spector and this is my 3rd year teaching 5th grade at Brentwood (my 6th year teaching). I earned my Bachelors of Science degree and teaching credential at Cal State Fullerton and my major was Child and Adolescent Development. In my free time I enjoy reading, riding my bike, yoga and spending time with friends and family. |
